    The students of Kaveripattinam Boys Government Higher Secondary School demonstrated their commitment to environmental stewardship by organizing a clean-up initiative along the banks of the Then Pennai river, coinciding with the International Day of Action for Rivers. With the safety of participants being paramount, prior permission was diligently obtained from both parents and guardians. Only students possessing swimming skills were chosen to participate, ensuring a responsible and safe execution of the clean-up efforts. To facilitate effective coordination and supervision, the students were divided into groups of five, with each group assigned a designated monitor. Equipped with a whistle to signal in case of emergencies, these monitors played a crucial role in overseeing the activities of their respective groups, ensuring adherence to safety protocols throughout the event.
