Ariyalur Range, Ariyalur Division the Swachhatha Hi Sewa Campaign was conducted by organising a clean up drive in the Karaivetti Birds Sanctuary. The program was attended by the Local villagers and Forest Staffs.

Ariyalur Range of Ariyalur Forest Division Medical camp was organised in the Karaivetti Birds Sanctuary for the benefit of Surround Villagers. In addition to it awareness camp is also conducted for the Students & Villagers. Also Palmyra seeds were planted along the boundary of the Sanctuary. The District Forest Officer, Ariyalur headed the function and was attended by Elected body representatives, College Students, Local villagers, NGOs, etc.

On account of World Environment Day 2024 Celebrations in Karaivetti Birds Sanctuary (Ramsar site 2537),Ariyalur Division, we have conducted numerous events in collaborations with various departments and NGOs,Events: 1) Plastic clean up drive in Karaivetti Birds Sanctuary 2) Weed removal in the catchment area of Karaivetti Birds Sanctuary 3) Tree Planting Event4) Environmental Awareness programme by Traditional Arts (Thappaattam)5) Free Distribution of Manjappai by Meendum Manjappai Iyakkam6) Free Distribution of Solar lamps to Irular community tribal people depriving Electric connection.7) Esteemed Wetland Mithra Award Presentation8)Free Distribution of Thirukkural Books to Students and Parents in 100 No's9) Awareness Speeches by Ornithology & Climate change enthusiasts and professors.
