world Environment Day 2024 was celebrated at Kaluveli Wetland Bird Sanctuary Plastic cleanup drive, bird watching and awareness to schools and college were conducted and Sparrow nest NGO participated and delivered awareness programs via songs, dance, and drama. at Kaluveli Wetland Bird Sanctuary. and Awareness created among fishermen of Ekkiyarkuppam coastal village at Marraknam about the conservation of the ocean environment and protection of sea creatures like sea turtles, sea cucumbers, and sea horses. awareness to school children about the environment, wildlife, and ecology was also conducted in Nahar Public school Villupuram.
